Sara Nourizadeh is an award-winning, BAFTA-nominated Welsh-Iranian director and screenwriter working across film, television and branded content - directing campaigns for clients including Tiffany & Co., BlackRock and Peloton, alongside national tourism campaigns for VisitBritain and Visit Greece. Her commercial work has been recognised by Digiday and the Telly Awards.
On the broadcast side, her BBC2 documentary Finding Hope earned her a BAFTA Cymru Breakthrough director nomination, and she recently directed Lucky Socks, coming out later this year on BBC and S4C.
Her BFI Network and Ffilm Cymru-backed short, Marriage Test, is a cinematic comedy-drama inspired by her parents' cross-cultural love story and set in 1980s Cardiff. Currently on the festival circuit, the film has been selected for Aesthetica, Sunrise, TCCFF and Love Is Film.
She is currently developing three new projects: her first feature, FRANK; a crime thriller The Escobars of Ealing; and a stage adaptation of Marriage Test.
