Sara Nourizadeh is a freelance Welsh-Iranian producer, director and writer working across film, television and branded content.

Sara's latest BBC2 documentary Finding Hope earned a BAFTA Cymru Breakthrough nomination, and she recently directed Lucky Socks, coming out later this year on BBC and S4C. She is also a BBC New Voices writer.

Sara's debut narrative short, Marriage Test, backed by BFI Network and Ffilm Cymru, draws on her parents' cross-cultural love story and is set in 1980s Cardiff. It is currently on the festival circuit, with selections including Aesthetica, Sunrise and Love Is Film. She is also developing her first feature, FRANK, and a new crime thriller, The Escobars of Ealing.

Alongside her narrative work, Sara directs commercial campaigns for global brands, with projects recognised by Digiday and the Telly Awards.
